MUSIC FESTIVAL & FOUNDATION

We're more than just pants.

RED ANTS PANTS MUSIC FESTIVAL

If you like music, local food, beer, sunsets, agriculture, and the rural Montana landscape, you should probably come to the Red Ants Pants Music Festival.

Held every July in a cow pasture just outside of White Sulphur Springs, this event may just become an annual tradition for you and your people.

Merle Haggard, Brandi Carlile, Emmylou Harris, Taj Mahal, Dwight Yoakam, Tanya Tucker, Lyle Lovett, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Lucinda Williams, Corb Lund, and Ben Bullington are just a handful of our favorite acts who have taken our stage.

It is a pretty fantastic community event that rises up much like Field of Dreams, or an old-fashioned barn raising.

We started this event to bring people together. Something about the landscape of the festival and the good will of the attendees results in a pretty unique and worthwhile experience. We use the proceeds to fund our non-profit, the Red Ants Pants Foundation.

Come connect with good folks and join us in celebrating rural Montana!

RED ANTS PANTS FOUNDATION

To show support for the hard-working side of Montana and beyond, the Red Ants Pants Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3), was born in 2011. The Foundation supports women’s leadership, working family farms and ranches, and rural communities, the three things most important to Calhoun, the company, and the Red Ants Pants Community.

The Mission

  • To develop and expand leadership roles for women.
  • To preserve and support working family farms and ranches.
  • To enrich and promote rural communities.

The Values

  • To recognize and cultivate a strong work ethic.
  • To encourage and build self-reliance, especially for women.
  • To educate the public on the importance of maintaining traditional work skills.
  • To provide opportunities for people with different perspectives to connect, build bridges, and discover common ground.
