Store Manager & Sales
From her beautiful smile lighting up your day when you visit the shop, to answering all your questions over the phone and on email, to keeping our books in order, Anya keeps the shop running and in tip top shape! Anya was born in Cheboksary, Russia, and moved to America four years ago. She lives in White Sulphur with her husband, enjoying every minute of country living in gorgeous Montana. So, if you ever need an authentic recipe for a famous Russian beet soup borscht – you know who to ask!
Born and raised in Billings, MSU Bobcat alum Judy has called White Sulphur home since 1983. She’s raised four (great) kids here, loves staying active in local organizations, works as a US Postal Service clerk, and somehow also has time to romp with her two dogs and three horses. Judy spends her free time enjoying all that Montana has to offer: camping, boating, skiing, and spending time with family and friends. After visiting her in the shop, be sure to stop by Berg Garage for great customer service and to say howdy to her husband, Jay!
This mama of two is probably tougher than you! The daughter of an educator, Christina was born and raised in White Sulphur. Work in the oil industry introduced her to fiancée Chris and gave her the opportunity to see our country – from LA to TX to CO to ND to OH to NE to WY…we’re all lucky to have this sharp business major back home. Over the years she’s honed many valuable skills from pipefitting to tractor driving. When she’s not helping out on her family’s ranch east of town, you can find her outside enjoying Montana with her family.
Annie Bailey is a photographer, artist, and graphic designer, as well as a native Montanan. She grew up on her family’s ranch just outside of White Sulphur Springs and knew from an early age that a life in the creative field was what she was going to pursue. Annie attended the Art Institute of Colorado, living in Denver for several years before moving back to Montana, where she is most at home. Her childhood spent admiring the landscapes and seasons of Montana’s countryside has influenced her art and design greatly and she enjoys mixing her traditional roots with modern design.
KATHY WEBER BATES
Kathy brings more than a decade of experience as an award-winning journalist to the team and is devoted to telling the Red Ants Pants story on every platform, including campfire sing-a-longs. Kathy and her husband, Joe, consider themselves blessed to be raising their two young children in Griz Country. They can be spotted playing in the dirt, camping, floating & fishing the Blackfoot & Bitterroot Rivers.
BREE ROGERS DUGAN
Bree has been a loyal customer since her sister Kami’s premier in the (in)famous ‘Truck Commercial.’ As a strategic consultant, she is having a blast dialing in processes and helping Calhoun to identify and achieve goals. Basically, every day of ‘work’ feels a heck of a lot more like ‘play’ – the way it ought to be! In the fall, she can be found upland bird and waterfowl hunting with her black lab, Scully. She lives in Bozeman with her husband, John “the Duges” Dugan.
Aka: Nellie Bellie, our faithful shop dog and dear friend. Border Collie, Australian Shepherd and Heeler, she does a terrific job of herding Magpie. She will often be found in the front shop window, and no…the little doggie in the window is most definitely not for sale. But she will give you plenty of loving when you come visit.
Oh if cats could be human….this feline has more character than most. Perhaps it’s her mustache, perhaps just her crazy spirit. She will happily greet you in the shop with full volume hellos…until Nellie herds her away from the attention.
BOARD OF ADVISORS
LEFT TO RIGHT: Sarah Hamlen, Alan Deibert, Richard Siberell, Sarah Calhoun, Mark Terwilliger
Here at Red Ants Pants we believe in mentors. We have learned that it is a really good idea to ask for help from the wise folks who have paved the way before us. We have annual board meetings and regular gatherings, often floating the beautiful Yellowstone River. This board has so much incredible skill and experience in business planning, product design, sourcing, and production, and we are constantly humbled by their generosity.
